Instead of replacing stuff willy-nilly, next time your car doesn't start pull the primary voltage feed from your distributor and see if it's getting 12v. (Don't pull the secondary and try to test...

I found it easier to get the blower motor assembly out than to reinstall it along with with the duct in correct alignment. Of course I took out the whole assembly, not just the motor.

If you're doing this because your blower motor "died", there's a possibility it could just have a dead spot in the motor armature. A quick solution is to :
0) turn the fan off (dial it all the way...
