its not a proven fact necessarily. i've just seen it ALOT because i work at a honda dealership. and no your timing belt won't shred to pieces at 100k but it is a good idea to change it out at around...

regarding the first picture: the "puddle" of oil is most likely coming from that black circle right above it called the camshaft end cap/seal. These 01-05 civics are notorious for leaking out of...

or you can buy a header that fits an EX than buy a megan racing test pipe that has a high flow cat in it from their website. thats what i did for my LX and it works really well

i work at a honda dealership and i personally have never seen bubbling in a coolant jacket before but i can vouch for Honda that their new coolant is turqouis/blue in color and prediluted 50/50 mix

check the big battery fuse(it should be an 80 amp fuse) in the under hood fuse box. that happened to me once

yes it did. obviously you have replace sway bar links, brackets, and bushings cuz the sway bar from the ex is thinner than one on the lx

all the pads should wear pretty much evenly but not perfect. the inside one will be more worn (but not much more) cuz its getting all the pressure from piston pushing on it

i bought my front bumer cover off ebay $140 shipped and it came primed already. Then i took it to my local honda dealer and they matched the paint for me for about $200. looks real good:thumbup:

ya honda fuel pumps do not go out and have to be replaced as often as Chevrolet or Ford do. Those usually last only 100k. Honda fuel pumps are so much better. Im still on factory fuel pump and i have...
