Re: Thinking about getting an obd2 lsd transmission, but how to set ignition timing ?

I'd say you've got the right idea with the pulley.
take the crank pulley off and take the time to replace anything leaking around the main, then shoot it with a nice base coat of black paint. ...

Re: can I use my F22B1 ingectors on H22A

Whether the injectors are peak and hold, or saturated, is not the main issue.
The accord injectors are 190cc while the h22's flow at 240cc.
You will run lean, so don't use them.

Re: best value in stock replacement shocks?

You could handle the job yourself no problem.
Autozone, Oreillys or Kragen, depending on where you live, all rent external spring compressors.3

Re: Going from f22b2 to f22a6

Just curious but what is the purpose of this swap?
The A6 does have some very mild benefit over the B2, if your end goal is power, there are much better options to choose from.

I hail from Texas so I have no input on snow tires, but welcome.

Re: Tips for Replacing Rear Motor Mount?

You have to take the front bracket off before moving the engine, the front mount stabilizes the engine from torsional forces so at rest there is no load on it.
You're good on the other steps.

Re: H22 / F22 Throttle Body Install

Np, I hope it benefits your setup.

In your case I would recommend driving your car off a cliff, should make for quite a noisy event.

Re: Read this.

My favorite is when the guy making the post doesn't think he gets an answer fast enough... and then makes another post with a different title asking for help with the same issue. :hammer:

Re: Fseries stockish build beginning - input appreciated!

The H TB will fit the F22 upper manifold plenum bolt for bolt.
Enlarging the throat of the F22 manifold to match is also simple work with a dremel, grinder, or whatever
.
I pulled mine together...

Re: turbo! help

It really depends.

The intercooler sounds like an Ebay special and are fairly cheap to begin with.
The deal you got on the turbo is dependant on its condition.
Did you measure and check shaft...

Re: H22 / F22 Throttle Body Install

Sorry for the delayed response.
Yes, I did correct the high idle, I simply has to adjust the stop screw which had previously been adjusted.
The yellow factory setting had been changed.
I'm not...

Re: light vs. oem flywheel

I can speak to the benefit of a lightened flywheel.

I was in your shoes a few years prior to my manual swap wondering the same thing.
I went with an Exedy stage 1 clutch kit and a Fidanza 8 lb...

Re: opinions on cv joint replacement

The bearing I am talking about is contained within the intermediate shaft body, that is what bolts to the block.
Have you ever noticed how much longer the passenger side axle is?
That's because...

Re: opinions on cv joint replacement

A failing CV joint can cause everything you described.
Typically however, a cv will not cause a vibration that changes with speed.
Also be mindful of the intermediate shaft on the drivers side. ...

Re: F23a to F22b swap

x2 on getting it tuned.
I would think long and hard about pairing the H trans with the F motor though.
Been there, done that.

The H trans will offer a hole shot however, imo its gears are too...

Re: 96 accord head swap non vtec to vtec

Read my post earlier in this thread, it says exactly where the oil control orifice is.
Yes you have to remove it.
Use the B1 timing belt.
All of this is covered in the FAQ we already have.

Re: 5th gen auto to 5speed conversion write up

There's an entire harness plug to the ecu that goes unused when doing this swap.
Its recommended you go ahead and spend the 50 bucks and change out the ecu to a manual.
If you don't, you will...

Re: 1999 Accord leaking oil after timing belt/water pump (pics)

First off its not the timing belt covers.
They are external of the engine and its oiling system.
I would recommend removing the valve cover and applying a thin covering of Honda-bond to the...

Re: 01 LX, Cyl 4 Misfire, Low Compression

Just hang on a minute.
It is not a timing issue.
There is an easy way to narrow down exactly what is causing the loss of compression.
Take a few tablespoons of motor oil and pour it into the...
