Replaced radiator, didnt bother with those oil cooler lines since those are only for automatics. Overheating stopped. Now to work on the p0505 and p0420 codes ive been getting.

This happens to me as soon as my ECU throws code P0505. It can be so many things that its a real PITA to fix. Search for P0505 and youll find a few diagnostics/solutions.

Ive been dealing with this issue for months now. Ive replaced the part and still get this issue. Clear the code using a scanner, 1-2 days later it comes back up. P0505 and sometimes twice (pending)....

not too much force. think valve cover bolt. as long as its snug your good. dont go all hulk mode on it. worst case it leaks and you tighten it a bit more.

Replaced the cap and it stopped leaking but then I noticed a small pool of coolant building up around the top plastic edges of the radiator. I just went to advance and picked up the cheapest radiator...

WTF?! how do you get from noise when turning the steering wheel left and right to bad spark plug wires? :thud:

I had this same issue. If fuse is fine, replace alternator. You can get it for around $50-60 from advance auto parts using a 40% off code. I think its TRT41, google it.

You can try purchasing an oversized drain plug bolt from advance/autozone for around $8-9 bucks. Install it properly by screwing it on till it gets a little hard, back it out completely and take off...

Too much work with the possibilities of so much going wrong for something so minor. Extra honda bond+correct torque sequence/force and a little prayer would be my suggestion. worse comes to worse you...

yea pretty much if it was one of the "bolts' that come out from the block cake the crap out of it with hondabond/RTV Sealant and pray. When I replaced my oil pan I went around the pan about 9-10...

I already know to check/fill MTF, bleed the slave cylinder with new fluid, but as far as internals go, if replacing fluids doesnt solve the issue what should I look for next?
