its called the donut gasket, not a donut gasket...donut gasket refers to the gasket that goes between the header and downpipe on all cars and trucks, everu vehicle has them. some have one pipe going...

check to see if the screw backed out of your rotary button inside the dizzy, and test the coil and ignitor while you're in there. and i thought with y8 manifolds that u were supposed to fund a place...

hhmm...is it affecting the way the car runs and performs? if u can feel it in the pedal it doesnt sound like backfire to me, backfire is just heard, not really felt unless its a bad one lol

also, if the poppy sound ur talking about sounds like backfiring, you need to check you ignition components, like the dizzy and rotor cap would be my first bet...what kind of popping, can you explain?

try cleaning your fitv on the botton of the throttle body, right under the intake tube/TB opening..if that dont help, try bleeding the coolant valve, which is kinda on the front of the head, right in...

at the worst, you could be in the early stages of a blown headgasket....may want to do a leakdown and compression test too if you have the tools?

just to clarify, yes you can use a 90-91 crx si front bumper or swap the whole front end on, no cutting needed. i helped a freind do the conversion on his 91 si hatch, we swapped the whole crx front...

timing. make sure u have it set right, and not off by a tooth. 1 tooth off makes a big difference in how it runs. also, check the dizzy and rotor, change the plugs and wires if you have the money to...

stage 2 clutches and light fly's tend to take some getting used to when you are used to driving on a oem clutch, and yes the fly will cause rpms to drop faster since its alot lighter than stock,...
