"riding" it in stop and go traffic. Anytime you slip the clutch at a given RPM, it creates more wear than if it were fully engaged at that same RPM.

exhaust leaks do hurt power at low rpms. if it's by your o2 sensor, it could also mess with the Air/Fuel readings.

A cracked cat will make a fluttering, almost metallic clanking sound when you reach a certain RPM or throttle position.

Have you bottomed out recently?

Chances are it's either the cam seal, vtec seal, or distributor o ring. Keep an eye on the oil level. Your car is not going to blow up.

It's not that far off. You only need a new cat when your numbers are double or triple the max allowed. Get the cat really hot and leave it running while you wait to get SMOG'd. Also, change the oil...

Not sure if that year had an EGR valve but you could try cleaning that. Most likely you need a new cat. The EGR reduces NO and the cat reduces everything. My suggestion is to buy a $200 cat to use...

This is a gremlin in all GSRs. It happens to my bone stock 95 every once and a while. I personally think it's in the fuel system (call it a hunch) :D

Try doing the fuel filter.

You put a new intake on right? It won't start just running off the throttle body. Also try starting fluid.
