They are different. The wagovan has longer wires to certain things and a few extra plugs. You could probably use it, f your in a real pinch...

I have checked those, and the thermostat ground. They are tight, with no loose wiring. However, I did not directly see the ground behind the cluster that is on the dash support. I can't find it...

You say Z6 distributor with a PM6 ecu. Those two are not compatible. If your using an OBD1 distributor, you must use an OBD1 ECU. The crank sensors inside the housing operate at a different Hz...

The FITV has no wires. it's only coolant temp controlled. Sounds like you needs to screw the white piece inside it back together as it may have fallen out. Search in the FAQ its in there. -Later, BR

HF ecu will do more damage then good. It will run lean and trip check engine light for EGR valve. Best just to stick with your PM6. If you want better mileage, get an HF tranny. LONG gears for the...
