yeah the heat gun seems to be what will save the paint. ok i'll talk to my tech buddy and we'll do the fronts too. i'll try to post pics up when we're done :) thanks guys

no i got a 4 wire o2 sensor but i was trying to figure out after i rewire the connector to accept the 4 wire if that 5th wire would for some reason throw a check engine light. but what you said...

i just got a set of 15x8's and i'm running 225/50 tires on them and of course they rub on the fenders. i've raised the back of the car up as much as possible until i can roll the fenders at work but...

I have a 2000 Civic and i recently installed a DNX 4-2-1 header and Magnaflow catalytic convertor and exhaust. Sounds pretty good but none of the donut gaskets i've tried to put on the header's...

Yeah you're probably right. i live pretty close to Pacesetter so i can at least go over there and line 'em up to see if the exhaust ports match.

could be the cap and rotor weren't installed correctly or possibly the cam position sensor is off. just check the sensor and wiring

i'd check the ground wires. i had this same issue in my grand prix a long time ago and that turned out to be it (went through 2 alternators first though...dumb). your vss doesn't have anything to...

I can't imagine having air in the coolant system would cause your idle to run high like that.
does it idle high at startup?
does it idle high after engine running for 5 minutes (sitting still)?
