So it doesnt sound like a major engine failure? Would this cause the engine to die?

So my car has had a slight tick for a while now. Took it to a local import mechanic and he said it didnt sound like valve lash or rod knock. The other day , coming home from work the noise got louder...

Will 99 Civic SI Cruise Actuator fit 96 EX?

I found a 99 civic si cruise control actuator(has the cable that goes to the pedal) locally but am wondering if it will fit my 96 civic coupe EX.

Painting Civic Rear Quarter

I just bought a 96 civic coupe and it looks like the rear quarter has been replaced. The paint job looks sketchy and you can for sure tell it was repainted by a Do it yourselfer. Theres paint runs...

Car dies when clutch is pressed

I am wondering what can cause a car to die when the clutch is pressed. It idles fine in neutral but once the clutch is pressed it dies.

I only tried starting it with the clutch in, started right...

That's the thing, she says it shifts fine but the car idles low. She thinks that Is the clutch. I don't think the clutch would cause a low idle, maybe iacv
