after replacing the sway bar links, I still have the cracking sound on my civic... It is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!

i just replace my tranny a few months ago and I had to take it from the top but I had to take the engine too.... not enought room to just take the tranny ....

I have this happend to me on my passat and was lucky to not have any pistons bad... I did replace the head... If I was in this situation, I would look for another engine or head....

WWWOOOWWWW!!!!!. I cant even imagen how it look inside... I got the car from my exwife's grandmother.. thats why I got the car cheap...somewho grandma drove fried the engine and blow a piston rod...

Im sorry to heard that dem0nk1d, all the money and hard work wasted because of a lie.. but it is pretty common to have a bad rod bearing when you have a blown headgasket... if i was you. I would take...

I did replace those bushing.. I just put in a rebuilt tranny and I replace the front motor mount... All the bushings do kinda look old, is it hard to replaces them?
