ya its the oil pump cover, no i didnt apply any grease to it, ill give that a try then.

So I removed my front cover to install my balance shaft and crank oil seals. When I went to screw in the front cover the crank seal pops out am I missing something when installing the new seals?

no i never did, if you want to wait like a month i could make a quick one, i have to pull the engine out because my rear crank seal is leaking too so it may take a while.

well i have everything connected beside the timing cover, i am concerned that i might wreck a seal or something with running the car with low oil.

okay so shit, i didnt even need the bolt-out set, i decided to drop the tranny mount to see if it would give me a little more room, and it did! i was able to put on a 3/8 th socket with wrench it...

no, i could't even put a socket with socket wrench on it without the bolt out socket. i just bought one from canadian tire so i can try to return it but if i cant i am not going to dish out extra...

thanks for info, thats what i need, but i still cant access it with the stripped bolt, ill try again this weekend but it looks like im going to have to pull the engine out and grind some corners on...
