Re: Transmission: How screwed am I?

The car will live. It won't leak unless your seals are bad. The part your missing is the flywheel inspection cover. Check a local scrapyard or poke around online for one they should be cheap. If you...

Re: is yonaka a good buy for my ef hatch?

I helped my buddy put one on his 99 ex. he loves it. Not too loud, no rasp, and decent quality for the price. If your worried about volume, keep your cat and make sure it has a resonator.

Re: Compensator Arm Bolt Frozen

You can spray it on there after it cools from being cherry red, but don't let it cool completely. Letting it cool down slowly WILL weaken the metal. Any oil will work, PB Blaster is just handy. It...

Re: Compensator Arm Bolt Frozen

Rather then letting the bolt cool normally, heat it up with the torch then immediately spray it with pb blaster or something similar. Doing this retains the temper of the metal so it doesn't become...

Re: IAC idle surge please help

Is it cold out where you are (below 50)? If it dissipates quickly its probably water vapor, a byproduct of combustion. If it has a sweet smell to it, then it may be coolant. Do you hear any hissing...

Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you put the ignition to on? Do the lights dim when cranking or does it sound weak/slow?

They both have black wires going to them. (B2+B10) I wrapped a small piece of wire to the end of my red lead and stuck the other end of the wire into the ecu pin. Then I took the black multimeter...

Re: 99 Civic Ex No Start, No Fuel Pressure

VTEC solenoid is plugged in and seemed to be working fine the last time the car was running. Checked all the injectors one by one then all at once and none of them are spraying.
