02si vtec problem

Got a p1259 for vtec malfuntion i replaced the vtec solenoid and the pressure switch on the side of the engine and fresh 5w20 synthetic oil and i still throw the code wnt happen all the time tho it...

Heres my issue i got a P1259 code for vtec malfunction...so i replaced the vtec solenoid and the pressure switch on the side if the motor fresh 5w20 synthic oil change and this code keepscoming...

you can plug in and go since both are obd1 comp but you need to wire the vtec up or you will throw a cel. ur getting fuel? are you sure your injectors are firing? compression since you swapped heads

yea sorry i thought it was a a2 bt yea a a3 but yea its loud but is sounded like rocker slap soo i had to start some where ya know. @ turbo teg there is one cam lobe on the exhaust cam thats alittle...

ok im new to the k series engine but real familiar with the b-series my ? is my friend bought this car with a ticking noise which sounded like the valve lash need adjusted so i adjusted them to spec...

first off its a 1998 civic dx maual with a d16z6 with a obd2 to obd1 jumper using a stock p28 ecu...issue is when im in gear just cruising (example: ill be in 2nd gear ill be on the gas let off still...

98 civic reving issues

issue with my 1998 civic has a b16a2 swap in it..my issue is i got to winde out first to grab another gear and the car just falls on its face wnt rev past like 4k and its in every gear try shuting...

sounds like a ok deal hes full of shit when it say vtec valve cover cause they wont fit and theres certainly some money in the edelbrock things just make sure there the real deal.

well first is to make sure it is in time a tooth off will make a difference and you said u got air fuel spark..make sure the injectors are firing using a noid light

you using the automatic harness.. you dnt have a nuteral safety switch u need a harness for a manual car for starters and a ecu if im not mistaken also u need to wire up the sensor that tells the ecu...
