Re: 94-95 power antenna

The power antenna assembly is the same on all hondas that used power antennas from that generation. I replaced my 94 sedan mast with one out of a 92 coupe.

Re: 1996 Rocker Arm Assembly Help

You are going to have to pry up the assembly slowly and evenly. There are precision ground dowel pins locating the assembly on the head, and those don't like to come loose. Just be patient but it's a...

Re: cross threaded oil pan drain plug

That's not zinc, zinc plated steel doesn't develop rust spots, if it was galvanized it would look similar to a chain link fence. That's carbon coating leftover from heat treating.

Re: Painful Timing Belt Question

It's got 187K on it. JS. That's pretty much the end of the expected service life for those cars. Unless you happen to enjoy rebuilding stuff. I don't want to sound callous when I say this but you...

Re: true dual exhaust

You car isn't going to sound like a V-twin with a dual exhaust. It will sound like a four cylinder engine with two exhausts. The reason this trick works on older carbed engines (I'm assuming you are...

Re: Replacing the Head Gasket

No, just use the gasket. If you do it right you won't have any issues.

Oil the bolts, and go get a high quality tap and chase the threads on the head bolt holes until it comes out clean.

Re: 1992 Accord Bent Exhaust Valve

To replace the valves you need to pull the head. Lot's of work, and it is also possible that the valve guides have been damaged.

Re: what is large hex nut hose/pipe on top of radiator

Pressurized refrigerant and compressor oil are in it. Unhooking it is bad, don't do it. Find some other way to get your tool in.

If you unhook that line all your refrigerant will escape into the...

Re: installing manual transmission

I know, but the bellhousings are the same. Otherwise a manual tranny wouldn't fit on an automatic block etc. Physically the automatic transmission is larger. But he's not swapping anything.

Chances are the frame itself isn't bent from a curbing. Most likely the mounting flanges for the control arm itself are bent. Takes a pretty big wack to mess with the frame istelf.

Re: my block is warped...what should i do now???

Yeah, it's gotta go all the way down to bare block. Don't want metal shavings in the rings. $675 is obscene, even with shipping. Decking the block is like a 30-40 minute milling job TOPS.
