The problem with Vbands are they are solid mounts, so using them on IC tubing could cause stress and cracks down the road with the vibrations and movement if used 100%. This is were the wiggins...

Anyone welded a 4" vband on the intake side of a turbo? Were looking for ideas to secure an air box directly to the turbo.

No question awsome, so many choices for bend sizes its hands down the best place place. You get clean material and accurate for that matter also in the bends.

Yeah that looks like trouble. 6061 is way easier to souce then the 321 thats for sure and cheaper. Got the part# for the Vibrant muffler so ill see what they want to do. The rest of the turbo kit is...

I checked out vibrants site but they don't list any aluminum mufflers yet. Shows they have them but no sizes or prices.

Funny thing is thats what we came up with. The outlet flange on a tial 44 is perfect but its a Female. I'm not sure if Tial makes the male side of if ill have to have that one custom machined.
