I just put the motor in the car and was wondering if you have to do any wiring to the to make the gsr engine work. Its an OBD1 gsr going into 92 eg si. Any help would be appreciated. Also the car...

I only pay about $50, but it should be somewhere in that range. Just bring them the crank and tell them you want it micropolished and they will take care of it. Just take it to a reputable shop.

There is a specialty tool for things like that because the fords are real bad about that. I believe Lisle tools makes a spark plug kit that come with a long drill bit and a heli coil kit that works...

Thanks for that diagram 94eg! I thought that mount was wrong. Anybody know where I could possibly get that bracket. It's my customers daily driver and he has the money for repairs so the sooner...

its a D15B engine. I had a new one come in from the parts house right now and it doesn't work and looks about the same as the old one. I believe the bracket on the engine is wrong. Lol! Thats...

As long as you have a CAT, no check engine light on, no aftermarket parts without a carb sticker, and no major EVAP leaks you will pass no problem. The emissions numbers for them are about the same....

Usually a compression test won't tell you very much about bent valves because the engine is not turning very fast. What you could do is a cylinder leak down test, but if you don't have a cylinder...

Your chances are super high! You will more than likely have to take it to a machine shop and ask them to micropolish and balance it.
