i've looked into making these for sale, but i dont think its worth it. as we can clearly see here, most people wont appreciate it.

nothing wrong with running a gate off the turbine housing. if you have room for it, thats the way i'd do it.

the owner has been racing turbo cars for years, he wanted to try a compound setup. he ended up deleting the stock blower anyway though so its now true twin turbo. he just got a 427 dropped in there,...

i dont cater to a honda market at all.
if you look at any of my projects, they've been in a much different 'level' to put it bluntly, so paying 300/mo here would be a total waste of $ for me...

a lot of the guys here are 1 man operations and from personal experience 300 a month could go a LOT further than being spent here. for most, like myself this was a place to share techniques/knowledge...

TBSS with a built motor/4l80/id2000/twin 67's etc...

i've always wondered why you see the starts/stops of the gas coverage on the inside. not enough flow/coverage from the purge?

it really doesnt flow, welds more like aluminum. you also have to make sure you feed the filler into the hottest part of the puddle otherwise it will stick.

its kind of a pain in the butt but its...

ill post some up tomorrow or wed, built a pretty cool crossmember for a trailblazer SS out of chromoly, 1st time welding it and i gotta say i like it!

yeah, i found knife edge bevels to be best. i use a very steep angle and minimal amperage. takes a little bit longer but it was easier for me to produce welds that looked nicer with minimal HAZ

not sure if anyone ever asked this or not, i assume you knife edge bevel all pieces and use a minimal amount of amps to get full penetration while inputting the least amount of heat possible into the...
