yea the fan has to run or the compressor will cut in and out repeatably. just install a new fan and reconnect and your good as new.:P

mine did the exact same thing. on top of the hood area above the condencer area, there is a ground wire. check that. i fixed that and good as new!!

i have a d16y7. headgasket is blowing coolant out of the resivor. am i gona have the same issue replaceing the gasket? it just started overheating mostly in 80-90 degree weather. coolant smells...

is their a way to get the cap to not trip? howabout that gasket seal stuff that you add to the radiator to seal head gaskets?

its a 97 civic lx sedan, 1.6 liter sohc nonvtec. outside is good, carpet looks crappy seats mint, the trans is ok now, but we will see.

Lol well if they want a used abused car, i guess they can ave it! its a clean body w. crappy intior. great a/c!! 173k mi dd + its a auto, no one wants thoes they have a high fail rate
