Re: B16A2 camshaft holders

That it does, that it does... Maybe I'll try my luck with a newer swap if I'm not able to get a reasonable price for it.

Re: B16A2 camshaft holders

Goodness... You mean to tell me that cars degrade just like everything else!?

My '91 hasn't given me near the amount of trouble as this piece of crap. No large chunks of metal crumbling off the...

Re: B16A2 camshaft holders

Ah... yes, I guess it wouldn't have been memorial day in Canada...

It makes sense that they wouldn't be available separately. I got one at a junk yard anyway and I'm going to take my chances with...

Re: B16A2 camshaft holders

This just happened today and at an hour when most dealerships were most likely closed. Considering it's memorial day, I doubt there were many open in the first place. The closest Honda dealership to...

Re: B16A2 camshaft holders

Alright, so this is a relatively common issue then and I'm jolly well fucked for now.

B16A2 camshaft holders

Ok, so the valve cover stud that threads into the intake camshaft holder near the distributor came out when I pulled the cover to replace the gaskets. Upon threading it back in, I managed to break...

Re: Horrendous milage in 91 Civic

Just a recommendation... if you have typical honda rust, you might think about inspecting your gas tank and fuel lines. I had a similar problem a few years ago and my tank turned out to be rusted...

Re: Where are all these junkyards full of 92-00 civics ?

I work at Brim's Import Salvage in Kenton, Ohio. Doubt we'd be able to UPS a hood, but a gauge cluster would be no problem. I know we have a lot of Hondas and Acuras out there.

Re: RSX front seats in an EM1

I did see that thread but it's not what I had in mind. I want to try to make it look completely stock, which may not be a possibility. I will come back to that one if my experiments are...

I had done some searches earlier and didn't find what I was looking for. Perhaps I didn't go far enough through the pages of results or I skimmed over it, or I'm entering the wrong search criteria. ...

RSX front seats in an EM1

Picked up some black cloth RSX seats for free at work today and was wanting to try swapping them into my Si. I already know it's not a direct swap, but it looks like it should work out if I can swap...

Re: Tell Us Your Story: How Did You Get Into This Honda Stuff?

Haha, sorry to disappoint you, man. I actually wondered how many people would mistake me for a female. Curse my feminine name.

Name's Dana. I'm 26 and live in the small city of Kenton, Ohio.

My love for Hondas stems back to childhood as well, but not like you might think. I didn't truly get into Hondas till I was maybe...

Re: 00 Civic Si - won't start - broken rotor

No CEL codes at this time. I assume I would need a code reader to plug into the OBD port, which I don't have. CEL has been on since I bought it, but it was the result of an aftermarket cat. Is the...

00 Civic Si - won't start - broken rotor

I picked up a 2000 Si as a second vehicle so I can get some maintenance done on my 1991 Si. I have taken several trips with it with no problems but tonight I encountered an issue where the engine...

Looking for a front knuckle for Si/DX to salvage the hub from, or even just the hub would be great. I'm assuming the hub is the same on both sides. It's ideal if you live in Ohio so I can pick it...
