Re: 1992 Accord flunks CA smog. Inspection report included.
I forgot to add that the iacv had a ton of crap clogging up the screen side. It looks like air filter paper and maybe mouse fur. I'll post a pic when I can. Pretty amazing. This car always had the...

Try not to trash the thread with chatter gents.
I talked to 2 pro's and they both said egr as stated here.
I did start working on the egr system. I went all of the way into the egr solenoid....

I have never had a vehicle flunk smog before. So I'm all over this! I could use help on interpreting the results. NOx is sky high! The other readings were great!!

Re: Radiators : Aluminum vs Brass ??
As of this weekend the tig welded aluminum radiator went into the wagon. We drove it 400 miles over the weekend without a leak. It doesn't fit perfectly. I had to tweak some of the surrounding sheet...

Re: EGR port cleaning without using carb cleaner
I like the idea of threaded holes too. But they can get clogged and maybe even seize up due to the carbon deposits that will accumulate with time.
The steel Honda replacement plugs are easy to...

Re: Radiators : Aluminum vs Brass ??
Actually it says 1.1 on the cap not 11. That's 1.1 Bar which is equal to 16psi. My bad.
The other thing I noticed was that the radiator has a warp to it. It's bowed toward the front of the car...

That makes sense to me. Thanks for the experience. I could still have my stock brass radiator rodded and boiled out, and send this all aluminum guy back.
