mine are glass...we did shoot ppg chromabase, now we use standox..... i use the reducer and it works fantastic on base and clear

also, mine are autodarkening and it hasnt effected it in any way
...

personally, if im matching a really nice oem pearl like on the newer caddys

its closer to 6-8 coats of pearl

but thats just me, and your not trying to match anything, your painting the whole...

around here its a minimum of 2hours setup, 2hours pull at the rate of the shop

if they even have the time to fit it in, most higher end shops wont just pull/straighten a car, most want the whole...
