I use a stainless wire wheel on a bench grinder and also use the 3m roloc pads for my angle die grinder scotch brite basically to kinda polish them up.

I have one and love it haven't done any end tanks but if my old diversion had the balls to do end tanks I'm sure the 221 is very capable.

I bought a htp invertig 221 a month and a half ago. Look into to them great welder for the price.

4043 filler is a good all around filler for aluminum it will work fine for what your doing.

I plan on getting the rage 2 myself. If your doing as much work at 9bells does you probably would wanna get the raptor. But I'm a hobby guy and do work on the side and I think the rage 2 would be...

You need to bevel your pieces more their is almost no bevel on some of those pieces. Did you purge your welds?

A flow meter/regulator can range from $80-115, argon cylinder isn't cheap. I have 2 and have $700 wrapped up in them. But I bought them you can lease bottles too.

Just sold my diversion for $1100 and ordered the htp 221 yesterday. But as tanner said the diversion is a great starter for me but I've had mine for 2 years it's time to up grade.

Collin what angles are you cutting the 2-1 collectors for the stock replacement Evo 8/9 manifolds? I plan on building one for my Evo in the spring since Pa weather blows right now.
