Thanks for the input. I just need garage space but don't want to dump it. Lots of time and money invested. I don't think parting out is worth the headache..

Second gear burnout is fine. It must be a combo of high tire pressure, low launch RPM and / or track. Just practice. I cut a 1.79 my first time ever on slicks (same size as yours). 7psi, 6800rpm...

Before you cut try a few things. People also use spacers to elevate the hood by the windshield. Google it. This lets trapped heat out of the engine bay

For what it's worth I ran my daily driver with 2 screens overlapped on the turbo with no issues for 2 years. Not saying it's the best option and people said it was bad, but my car was fine.

I have shipped numerous turbos to Greece for rebuild/upgrade. Put 'warranty' on the customs label with a value of $7. Through USPS you can insure for $650.
