Re: what parts work for mpfi swaps

You can use obd1 or obd2 injectors so you don't need a resistor box

Re: Question about rear seat interior quarter panels.

There is a difference indeed.

When you're looking at USA part numbers, the 88's had pillar mounted seat belts. 89-91 had door mounted seat belts.

Everywhere else in the world had pillar...

Re: EF Rear disc conversion

Yes exactly. If they end up being too long, you can just route the "left" cable to the right side and vice versa.

Re: DA integra knuckles question...

Instead of using DA knuckles, you can convert to 10.3" brakes on the stock Civic DX knuckles. It is an option.

Re: EF Rear disc conversion

Lots of people lump all 90-93 body styles together as DA's.

Same goes for the 94-01 integras all being called DC's.

Re: Wagon j swap awd?

The J series doesn't fit great. It sticks up a few inches above the hood line. You need to decide if you want a closed hood or any amount of ground clearance.

J-Series - Engine Swaps - Honda...

What engine bay harnesses are compatible?

Hi guys,

I am having some trouble finding the answer to this dilemma.

I bought a nice 1989 Civic Si, but it didn't come with an engine harness. I obviously need one to proceed with the car.

Re: 2G CL oem alarm disarm wire

Solved this. The blue wire at the driver's window switch needs to see ground to disarm.

There is a flaw with this setup. Once the remote start is active, the oem fob stops working. This is by...

2G CL oem alarm disarm wire

Hi guys

I'm installing a remote start, and it needs a connection to disarm the wire. The remote start functions fine, aside from the alarm going off when I use the remote start.

A few wiring...

Re: Car won't crank with key, but cranks with remote start fob

I was able to sort this out, but now I'm having trouble finding the OEM alarm disarm wire.

Some sources say it is the blue wire in the security module under the passenger seat. If I ground that...

I'm in the process of installing a command start in a 2003 Acura CL. Viper 4816V

I am able to press the remote start button which cranks the car.

I am not able to start my car...

Re: 90 CRX Si EV Conversion

Appreciate the update. This is very cool! I'm incredibly envious of this build, but I expect more builds like this in the years to come.

Re: 90 CRX Si EV Conversion

Very cool project. Any updates? You're putting a ton of thought into this.

Re: 90 CRX Si EV Conversion

I misspoke about billet. They are indeed cast. Those are the arms I was referring to.

Otherwise there is a few other kits:

Re: 90 CRX Si EV Conversion

I'm assuming you've seen the billet awd rear trailing arms, right? There's not really any oem wagon parts on these new AWD setups... Except the rear diff, which isn't present in this particular swap

Re: 90 CRX Si EV Conversion

From the looks of it, he's going to adapt axles from the tesla transmission directly to the trailing arms.

It will be a mid-engine EV. I don't see why he'd need the rear diff from a rt4wd setup. ...

Re: Brake upgrade, soft pedal once the car starts

I bench bled the MC again to see if it was done properly. There were no bubbles.

It was a combination of issues:

1) was missing a crush washer for one of the brake lines on the rear caliper. I...

Re: Brake upgrade, soft pedal once the car starts

I have not.

Hey Tyson, should the pedal be hard as a rock when the car is off? I also read that maybe my rear calipers aren't adjusted "snug" enough by spinning the piston.

Re: si to dx b series swap axle question.

I'm using 94-01 integra axles and half shaft in my 89 Civic no problem.

Just need to match the axle seals on the transmission to the axles.

Brake upgrade, soft pedal once the car starts

Problem: Soft brake pedal.

With the engine off, I can push the pedal until it gets firm. The pedal has a bit of give, about 50% of the travel. (should this be rock solid, immovable?)

Holding...
