Update: I did some research and found that I should check the YLW/BLK wire at the distributor connector for power and it has voltage. I then pulled the cap off and followed the YLW/BLK wire to the...

You should be able to retain your stock throttle cable but may have to use the ITR throttle cable bracket.

Re: 90 SIR rear LCA question

Thanks for the reply Tyson. I'm not really a fan of aftermarket "bling" LCA's either, the only plus is new bushings; which may also be trash aftermarket ones anyway. I prefer OEM over, almost,...

90 SIR rear LCA question

So, I'm helping my wife swap out some old blown coilovers with a typical Tokico/H&R spring setup on her 90 SIR.

I ordered what I "thought" were ITR style rear shocks that have the bushing on the...

Hissing from glove box area, need help trouble shooting A/C

Ok, so the car is a 95 ITR, but it's honestly more closely related to a GSR of that vintage, Driving home from work last night I noticed my A/C wasn't blowing as cold as usual, didn't think much else...

Re: JDM ITR Clutch Master Cylinder

Well, this is my invoice from my local Honda dealership for the clutch master cylinder for a 96 spec ITR. So, I guess the ST0 is indeed the ITR part. I'll post some pictures of the part when I get...

Re: JDM ITR Clutch Master Cylinder

I'm having a little bit of trouble myself finding the right parts to order for my bad clutch master cylinder; maybe some of HT's knowledge can help me out. The car is a 98 Honda integra TI, JDM RHD....

Can you fix the link to the DIY you posted? I can't open the link and I am also trying to add cruise to my civic. Thanks.

Re: D16 Engine Mods

Instead of making your car more powerful, why not try making it more fuel efficient? Considering this is only a "temporary" car and that you already have an idea of what you're getting next, why not...

Re: Intake Gasket Leak

three if the old gasket is adhered to the intake manifold and you need to do a little more than just "scraping", but easily doable on your own.

BTW what engine is it that we're talking about OP?

re: First time honda buyer

It really depends on the previous owner and what you plan to get out of it. I personally check out paperwork before I ever physically look at it. No use getting my hopes up, for what appears to be a...

Re: D16 Engine Mods

This all comes down to, like most things in life, how much money you have available to spend. If you can't go the "turbo" route, then you may want to look into a swap. Sometimes a K swapped civic is...

Re: 2000 DX won't start

Alright, I got home today and started working on bleeding my cooling system. I got all the way to the step where I start the engine and let it run for a couple of fan cycles. However, the cooling fan...

Re: 2000 DX won't start

I will test the TPS tonight, but I've never heard of one going bad; worth a shot though, thanks! I've also sprayed a little bit of starter spray around the TB for leaks and I have had no results....

Re: What ecu can I get for a 93 del sol ?

You can also use a p05. You can easily and cheaply convert it to M/T. Although, after your most recent mishap, I could understand if you'd rather buy a p06 haha.

Re: How necessary is ECU brass kickplate cover?

I mean it's not structural nor does it keep moisture out. I don't think there would be any harm removing it. If anything, it's used, possibly, as a heat barrier or way to mount the harness in a tidy...

Re: tire rod

True to not all tie rods being the same. Although, I'd suggest spend the extra dough on quality OE Honda parts anyways; you'll save money in the long run. In fact, the last time I priced a set of tie...

Re: 2000 DX won't start

Well, if I plug the UPPER hole "square hole" inside the TB with my finger the engine will sputter and die, does that mean I have no vacuum leaks? I'm just trying to narrow down the problem. But,...

Re: Car not starting

Sounds like something just rattled loose. If you have a multimeter handy you can check your battery as well.
