The block and crank are sold.

The ECU is still available. It is a virgin ECU off a USDM ITR. Still has the immobilizer. Worked perfect and passed Cali smog in my GSR with a complete 98 spec JDM R...

I believe it was a GSR head that they came off of.... (came off of friends B20V)

Ill measure them and get back.

Replied.... Seems like a nice quality header. I was mostly worried about the quality and construction of the collector, but customer pics look good.

Does it just shake at 20-35mph no matter the rpm? Does the shake move to a different mph range if you change your shift points?

Rear motor mount....? I just put the innovative motor mount kit on my GSR and I noticed that a little shake I had under acceleration is gone now...

Why does it matter what chassis its in if the Q's are about type r parts?

People gave me sh!t when I asked questions about my ITR motor, and nothing about non type r parts....

Kinda off topic, but I just got the Avid torque mounts. They do the same thing, but are a solid mount and replace the factory torque mounts. Spent a $100 for both. The engine doesn't budge anymore....

I don't think he even has a type r... Isn't it his dad's R? Yet he's repping the R pretty hard. Hes probably 16.

My dad has a cherry matching #'s '68 stingray L89 427/435 with a muncie 4...

Blue books are a great source when buying or selling cars. I was showing that R's are holding their value. They sell for alot more than they are blue booked for....

NADA puts an '01 (I guessed a year) ITR at $15k "clean retail" with 22k miles. Im not saying your R isn't worth 20k. Im sure somebody will pay that for a clean (guessing) ITR will really low miles....

I lived there for over 20 years until I went into the Navy. I know cali smog. Even my JDM R passed over half a dozen legit smog tests before I moved. Its not hard as long as it has a 50 state CARB...

Supercharged LS running somewhere in the 15's and your bashing vtec motors....? Even stock GSR's run in the mid/high 14's....

Point made. LS's require quite a bit of work to get up to Gsr and R...

Nobody on here was "sackriding" vtec motors. We were all giving valid info on the advantages of Honda's vtec engines...

BTW, how much power is your LS putting to the wheels. Any dyno proof?

GL. The JDM 4-1 isn't too bad for what it is. Its OEM, and its cool you can put the heat shield for a stock look too. I have to go for a full tri-y race header to try and get close to my marker.

According to Spawne32's logic an I/H/E LS should beat my I/H/E R in a strait line..... :scared: Now I have to sell the R swap and get an LS.

In reality nobody is going to leave a Vtec motor...

I tried mine a little, and when I shifted from 1st to 2nd at 8500 it goes to about 6000 as well, and the rest are about 8500 down to 6500. I know I have a jdm ITR tranny for sure.
