Icon2 04 DX auto trans issues... help plz

my trans when full throttle will sit at highest rpm for a few secs before shifting. what could be the problem?

just recently it clunks when shifting in to reverse. i know its the gear and it...

why not get an rsx cluster?
im going to be doing that here before long.
there are 2 rsx in the junk yard by me and im sure there are more in the bigger one i havent gone to yet.
its an easy swap,...

i just thought that was high as my 06 eclipse gt runs at like 2300.
just think, if the thing ran at around 2500 at highway speed how much more mpg we would have.

i have a 04 VP coupe 1.7L auto 4 and im at 3k rpm at 76mph.
is this norm. or is there higher gears in my trans.

i just bought it by the way and the trans was replaced with a used 05 per the vin...

i just bought a 04 V.P. 1.7L and this thing has some BAD vibration and its relevant the the motor and rpm as it gets better with more rpm.
the old owner had the trans. replaced and it was bad...

KEEP IT!!! ya like blaze said just get the frame pulled and do the rest yourself. it is cheaper to do the rest yourself by going to a junkyard and get clean body parts.

turn the ignition to the on position and listen for a humming noise coming from the rear of the car. if u cant here it then take a rubber mallet and hit your fuel tank a few times. if that dont work,...
