Re: My Hatch and CRX

I totally forgot about this thread. I kind of found it on accident. I hate to say it, but the cars are pretty much in the same state. I drive them, but no AC means they don't get driven much. I...

Re: 2012 Hybrid Blowing Inverter Transistors

I've reached out to him (I have a CR-Z also) he says it's a bad design. That's about it, maybe I'll ask again for clarification. Just contacted a company about replacing the entire IPU, they wouldn't...

2012 Hybrid Blowing Inverter Transistors

Like the title says, my 2012 Civic Hybrid keeps blowing a transistor in the inverter. The car has 207,000mi so there is no chance of them fixing under warranty. It usually happens when I come to an...

2012 Civic Hybrid IMA/Charging errors

With gas prices the way they currently are, I've been commuting in a hand-me-down 2012 Civic Hybrid. It has run fine, just needing the regular maintenance items until recently. The ac started making...

Re: My Hatch and CRX

Two weeks ago I got tags for the 85. Since it is 30 years old this year, I got antique tags. Don't know if this does anything, but it did cost less. The following week I got tags for the 91, it...

Re: I Have a 87 Crx and...

First, you are in the wrong section. This is for 2gen CRXs (88-91) which are totally different than the 2nd gen model.

Second, you should use punctuation so that people know what you are talking...

Re: Does a HONDA CRX have a backseat?

First I'd like to see a new CRX
Second I'd like to see a 92 CRX that isn't a DelSol.

But yes, all CRXs had them even the really old ones (84-87 first gens). You just couldn't get them in North...

Re: 91 Hatchback Autocross Build

I remember Katman and that car via the Hybrid pages. Props for the folks who've been around since the good old days.

Re: A/C Swap from '94 to '89 Civic?

All of the common replacement items are still available from the auto parts stores. You may as well check there first. Things like lines will be more difficult.

Re: My Hatch and CRX

The seller said that he'd heard of people using bedliner on top. I dunno though, I'm afraid that I'll mess it up if I try something.

Re: My Hatch and CRX

Got a new (to me) spoiler from a RPR member. The bottom is perfect no rust inside, the top is just a little porous.

Re: Crxguy's 1990 CRX frame-up restoration thread. (56k warning)

I have the OEM 14's on my Si with the factory size tire. The speedo reads fast.

Re: I Need Help with my 87 crx build

First, you have this in the wrong section since an 87 CRX doesn't fall within the "EF" body.
Second, aftermarket parts for this car are few and difficult to find. Most have been discontinued many...

Re: 1989 Civic AC is not Working Properly After New Compressor+Drier+Oil! Help!!!

Have you tried your corner parts store? Like Napa, Carquest, Advance, etc? That's where I bought mine.

Re: Crxguy's 1990 CRX frame-up restoration thread. (56k warning)

Didn't know we had a report post here or I would have done it the first time. Thanks for letting me know. That looks like the symbol for "information" to me.

^ You may be legit and did sell stuff to the OP, but it wasn't cool of you to spam the thread.

Re: My Hatch and CRX

Just another small cosmetic update. I ordered a couple exhaust tips from Rockauto, they looked close enough to the OEM tips but cost a lot less. They were around $20 with shipping. Ideally I would...

Re: My Hatch and CRX

It runs OK, but I don't drive it much. It doesn't have tags or insurance so I don't drive it. It gets driven around the neighborhood once every week or two when I have to move it to get the lawn...

Re: 8⁴ CRX buy or pass

Investment ha ha, no car should be considered an "investment". He is asking a fair price if it were driveable.
