has anyone ever tightened a couple head bolts to fix oil leak?

I just put my 98 gsr motor in and it leaked a lot of oil. The valve cover gasket and oilpan gasket both leaked so I changed them. Fixed those issues but I'm still leaking oil from the driver side. It...

Man call a couple shops around you and get quotes. Thats crazy, the muffler shop I take my car to did my whole exhaust 2 1/2 in piping for 150 lol

Try switching the main relay with one you know is good. When mine went out it made my my car do all sorts of wierd things lol

I would take the head off and take it to a machine shop. If you do it yourself take the head off because you dont want and metal shavings in your motor.

exactly. u can blow ur motor wit too much oil. dont be lazy when it comes to workin on ur car. being lazy makes more work in the long run....

hey thanks for the help. it ended up being the wrong pressure plate. but after i finished the swap i wrecked my car four days later. lol.
top of 3rd gear+fog+slick road+dead end+no signs+gate=bad...
