No, it's my second - had a 2000 Civic before this car - and that one NEVER made this noise (or any noise in reverse, for that matter), and I've had the Accord for a year and it only started making...

But wouldn't it make that noise when the car is going forward also if it were the pads?

Icon2 '04 Accord - high-pitched whine when backing up

Hoping someone here can help me figure out what's wrong with my car ... I have an '04 Accord EX, and whenever I go in reverse without using either pedal, the car makes a high-pitched whining sound...
