Re: Questions for the Pros: P28 ECU

The low end of what you should be looking for would be a S300, anything that uses an EPROM chip is a waste of time, it's all 80's tech anyway. If you're pockets are deeper a full stand alone would do...

Re: Master Cylinder Replacement

Yes, constantly check the reservoir and add fluid as you go.

The air will come out of the loosened lines at the MC, air will always take the path of least resistance to escape. As long as the...

Re: Master Cylinder Replacement

You can bleed it WAY faster without even taking the wheels off and it works every time if done properly.

What you have to remember is that the component you're replacing is at the top of the...

Re: Power steering pump making a wild noise?

If there are no visible leaks anywhere it's the suction elbow o-ring where the hose comes from the reservoir to the pump. It will pull small amounts of air by without actually leaking since there...

Re: Question about some Advans and bolt pattern.

Yeah, I messaged the person and they said that people have asked that question before and claims that the manufacturer will use the same casting for both 100 and 114.3 wheels, thanks for the info.

Question about some Advans and bolt pattern.

I'm looking to get a set of used Advans online and the seller claims they are 5x114.3 which is what I want and also what the stickers in the barrel claim they are BUT when looking at the photos of...

Re: H22 Swap No Start

Grounding points are very much well thought out as to their placement so yes, I would put it back where it should be on the side of the thermostat housing.

Here is the schematic that contains...

Re: H22 Swap No Start

Make sure the ground on the thermostat housing is hooked up, that's the main PCM ground, it wont power up without it hooked up and you'll have no fuel.

Re: Need some questions answered about 5 lug conversion

Yeah, there are some small other things too that makes keeping the 4g knuckles better like brake hose mounting and the neat little upper ball joint cover lol.

The FAQ's around some of these Honda...

Re: Need some questions answered about 5 lug conversion

Thanks, I also recently read somewhere that the 5g hubs and bearings can be pressed into the 4g knuckles, I'm going to measure and try this as I already ordered complete front knuckles in case it...

Re: 1996 Prelude VTEC Rescue/Revival

Don't replace the PS pumps on these old cars when they leak, rebuild them, the procedure is in the FSM and really easy to do. All the seals and o-rings can be bought at the dealer for like $30.

Need some questions answered about 5 lug conversion

I keep reading conflicting information about this subject.

What I'd like to know is that will the hub unit slide right on to the 4g rear spindles with no trouble? The FAQ here states that you need...

Very unlikely considering the sport shift lever and cable being different. The computers are different and I'd be willing to be the harnesses are different as well.

Re: 96 4gen prelude timing belt snaps So new motor

You can't do those with a broken belt lol. It's so much faster and easier to just crank the car with no covers or outer belts, you'll know right away. If it runs smooth with no noise then you can do...

Re: 96 4gen prelude timing belt snaps So new motor

It doesn't always ruin the valves when the belt breaks. On customer cars I tend to just slap a new belt and start it up with no covers, side mount or outer belts just to see if the engine runs fine...

Re: throttle issues? back fire from intake?

Check ignition timing and mechanical timing. Backfiring through the intake is caused by a lean running condition, the fuel mixture is being ignited before the spark plug fires and the intake valves...

Re: Have you run a chipped P06?
