Re: 2007 civic si sedan STOLEN!!!

How do they know that that key was used to drive to the levee? There isn't a location tracker. At most they might be able to determine the last key to start the car. But there are ways to get a...

Re: Aftermarket Turbo

All things equal, you will get better gas mileage with a turbo than without. The only problem is that people tend to drive much harder after the turbo and in turn get worse gas mileage.

This...

Re: Civic Si Up Against Genesis Coupe 2.0T article

Hyundai makes both motors. The V6 is the same as their others. The 2.0 is from a group that designed a "world motor."

The Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance LLC, or GEMA, is a manufacturing...

Re: converting Watts max to Watts Rms

RMS wattage is half peak wattage if I'm not mistaken. But that 22w you see on radios is usually continuous power not just RMS. It is the actual power you would expect to see over time. RMS doesn't...

Re: Quick Grounding question for my new Pioneer HU

I don't know what radio it is, but assume its a 50w peak X4. That would be 25WX4 RMS. 100W/12V=8.3A. It should really be more like 13.8V, which would be 7.2A.

Re: Quick Grounding question for my new Pioneer HU

That would make sense, but I would be just assuming that this Pioneer doesn't require nearly the kind of current needed to have 12 ga power wire.

Re: CT Supercharger +Exhaust...but which one?

Can you do a custom exhaust in California? Because that might be your best bet. You can choose what muffler to use. There aren't a ton of exhausts that are bigger than 60mm. King Motorsports...

Re: Low Oil problem..

You have to reset the oil life meter yourself. It doesn't do it by itself. There is a procedure in the manual for it. I'm not exactly sure what it is, I just press and hold buttons until it...

Re: Defouler or No?

You will get a CEL without one. I don't know how much it will throw off you AFR because I never used one, but you can always circumvent this whole situation by getting Flashpro and eliminating the...

Re: Improving the steering feel?

I don't think anything is going to "help" the steering feel. I still don't understand what the problem is. Everyone keeps saying that the car handles well, but that they don't like the steering...

Re: rc injector questions

I don't know if it would apply to you, but I had to buy plug n play injector harnesses for my RCs. They plugged into my stock ones and then the other end plugged into the injector.

Re: How do you breakin the si?

And then people waste their time telling people to search when they can just tell them and save everyone the hassle.

Drive easy for like 600 miles according to Honda. No Vtec. There is no reason...

Re: Converted the SI to E85 this weekend.

I'm saying you should have a tune because you are changing the fuel. There is nothing controlling your fuel except what appears to be a generic box made for the manufacturer. It has nothing to do...

Re: Converted the SI to E85 this weekend.

Wait, this kit uses stock injectors and just increases the "time they are on?" I'd like to know what your injector duty cycles are. Also, you are running 100ish octane in a car that doesn't need it...

Re: 6x9 only producing nothing but bass, need to know adjustments.

I think an LOC would probably be a waste. An amp is not needed for those speakers, I would guess, and he could run off the H/U power. If he's already tapping into speaker wires, he might as well do...

Re: 6x9 only producing nothing but bass, need to know adjustments.

Does your radio only have one set of pre-outs? If there are ones for the speakers, hook your rcas up to that. Also check the x-over on the radio. I think a lot of Pioneers come set at 80 Hz LPF...
