Re: 99 Accord Coupe: My rear brake lights will not turn off!

Holy crap, I just checked and found this little circular "rubbery" piece broken in like 3 parts. Is that it?

Now I can't shift out of parking. It's like you know exactly what's happening! What...

Icon3 99 Accord Coupe: My rear brake lights will not turn off!

I turn off the car and they are still shining at full intensity. I have tried to restart the car and drive around, turn on and off the headlights, but nothing.

The key is out of the ignition, the...

I have an issue with my 99 Accord V6 radiator cooling.

Ok, so these last couple of days my cars temperatures have been much higher than usual. High enough to the point where turning on the AC would sky rocket the temperature before my eyes. I'd also have...

Re: How do I know which audio head unit will fit my 1999 Accord?

Yeah, I noticed those number AFTER I noticed that crutchfield said they won't fit without a modification.

I know the speakers came with two pairs of different sized spacers. I don't know if that's...

I got those right there. SPR-17C.

Part of the problem is that I can't return them. I bought them on ebay.

Oh damn, I think the Alpine R Speakers I bought don't fit...

I have a 1999 Accord Coupe. I received the front door speakers and I checked Crutchfield and they say that they don't fit my car! I could've sworn I checked and they said it did! I know I checked...

How do I know which audio head unit will fit my 1999 Accord?

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500CDA105/Alpine-CDA-105.html?tp=5684&avf=Y

That's the head unit I had in mind. Crutchfield says it fits, but when I checked at BestBuy, the site said it didn't fit.

Re: Anyone have any experience with Alpine R speakers?

I just got the two 6 1/2" Speakers today. They sure look nice. We'll see how good they sound when I buy the CDA-105.

EDIT: I'm actually not really a fan of bass, at all. In my current stock setup...

Re: Anyone have any experience with Alpine R Speakers?

Damn, you guys are a big help; for real.

I think I could go with Rs and install the amp later. An amp now is not something I'm willing to buy.

Re: Anyone have any experience with Alpine R speakers?

Wouldn't the Type-R still sound better than the Type-S even without an amp?

Re: Anyone have any experience with Alpine R speakers?

But would they sound bad? Would I be better off buying the S-Series speakers? I would think the answer would be no.

Re: Anyone have any experience with Alpine R Speakers?

Yeah, I wasn't planning on buying it from the Alpine site.

I'm assuming you're talking about the same speakers I'm talking about, right? Sorry if that sounds like a dumb question. Also, the rear...

Re: Anyone have any experience with Alpine R Speakers?

I wasn't really planning on running an amp. I just wanted to upgrade what I already had: stock front and rear speakers, as well as a stock head unit. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I assume...

Re: Could someone link me to a tutorial for installing speakers?

Yeah, the ones in the front. I just need to know what to do to remove the door panel.

I've also heard that some people buy these plugs that make the process of installing each speaker easier.
