Thinking about selling heR, looking for opinions

If I end up selling the R, it'll be either before winter or just after. I've had it since 2008 and all the changes were done by me (except for the front, that came with). Anyway, what I'm wondering...

Re: Are Type R's Overrated?

All I can say to anyone that thinks they are overrated is that they most likely haven't driven one. Seeing one sit at a car meet isn't enough (though I bet you notice the R first before the JDM...

Re: Another one bites the dust

Extremely sorry for your loss. Sucks that it was taken away from you, and the end of an era didn't come by on your own terms.

Re: Question about wheel offsets

I would suggest staying with a 205 tire on that 7" wide wheel. So on that note, as others have already said, +35 is a safe common size, and 2mm really won't make much of a difference at that height....

Re: need some coilover feedback

Using the Koni/GC myself. You definitely can't go wrong for a street/weekend warrior setup. Other full coilover setups in the same price range I've found too harsh. Don't go more than 600-650lbs on...

Re: Road Racing / Autocross / Time Attack Picture Post!!!

Agreed! Holy crap that's a nice DC2 haha. I almost didn't believe you when you said you run 10 inch wheels lol. Rarely see such an aggressive yet clean JDM fronted track car.

Re: DC2R - Worth the jump to go wider than 225?

It's going to be a pain to get it up here, haha. I've spoken to 3 reps around the US, had to get bounced around a few times to try and speak to the right person.

Long story short, Maxxis does not...

Re: DC2R - Worth the jump to go wider than 225?

Thank you everyone for the excellent responses. I think you've helped me make my decision. I keep looking, researching, and plotting but I too can't justify the jump to a 17". I really only get...

DC2R - Worth the jump to go wider than 225?

Hello All!

It's winter time, which means planning for next season. Some may have seen me create a few threads already. I participate in Time Attack and run a lot of open lapping/HPDE with my DC2R....

WTB either 2 or full set of 15" Kosei K1. I have a low offset set for the front, but need HIGHER offset in rear for the R.
