If your motor is "bilt," then why are worried about the cost of sleeving? Either way stock sleeves seem to be hit or miss, some last, some don't.

I dont have the link or anything, but iv seen it a few times on the accord forum over the years. And that makes more sense since oil is under more pressure so that may not be the cause. Just trying...

If head gaskets keep blowing then there's obviously sealing issues. But i also recall a number of F23 blocks for a certain year that apparently had a casting flaw where a water jacket was too thin or...

Get the rods to a machine shop for a light hone to your specs. IMO dont fool with those stock cranks unless you REALLY have to.

IMO I'd sleeve it. Can always pull the head later as you said; plus your bottom end will be virtually bullet proof for the build/future ones.

I see some people use them and some don't. Mostly high HP cars seem to be using them on this forum but I'm just wondering when exactly when is it advised to run one of these? Is it a HP threshold...

Oh i'd love to. I love those 90-93 accord bodies.

So in a nutshell they just represent the generation, and any 91-2000 civic will be the same engine bay wise? Engine is a F22 so the same as an H22...
