Re: 1st gen civic cvcc B18c1 turbo RYR Build

Just saw a great looking B16A swap into a CVCC at the Carlisle Import Show.
The owner had no complaints about the power.
Keep on posting the pics of the build.

Re: newbie needs advice

If it's as clean as you say, why not leave it as original as possible?
Find a beater if you want to modify it.

Re: Official FS/WTB thread for all classic hondas

Parting out a 76 Civic CVCC and a 78 Civic CVCC.
Both are 3 door hatches.
Lots of rust on body panels.

Re: Possible 76 CVCC Purchase

If it is the CL ad for $600, I saw it. Lots of metal work to be done.
If you have patience, find a rust free one as a starting point.
If you do buy that one, I currently have a 76 parts car.
I...

Re: My 78 Civic CVCC

These were meant to be disposable econo boxes.
They ended up as affordable, reliable, fun to drive little cars that wouldn't die.
My car gets lots of happy stories and smiles at car shows but will...

Re: My 78 Civic CVCC

It's been a while since I've posted any updates.
I drove the car out to the 2013 Carlisle Import Show and back without any issues.
It kept up with traffic. I resisted the urge to go full throttle...

Re: Proud new CVCC owner...

Very nice looking Accord.
The 1stgencivic forum has a nice Accord section.
Just not as much appreciation for them as the early Civics.

Re: Official FS/WTB thread for all classic hondas

They had a pretty nice 1st gen last year.
I wanted to pull the dash.
When I went back, the car was already crushed! :(

Re: Replacing the Inner Tie Rod - 08 CR-V

I pretty much told Firestone that I bought this part because you said the part was bad.
They reimbursed me for the part and hopefully, they'll actually have a V that needs an inner tie rod show up.

Re: Replacing the Inner Tie Rod - 08 CR-V

I have a Firestone lifetime alignment service on my vehicle.
I took the V in for a balance, rotation & alignment on a Saturday.
Normal procedure is for the mechanic...

Re: Replacing the Inner Tie Rod - 08 CR-V

Turns out it was a lazy (I'll be kind) mechanic who claimed it needed replacement w/o trying to actually do the alignment.
Took it back to Firestone and they aligned it into spec.
Makes it very...

Hello, I have an 08 CRV-LX AWD with approx 155K.

They said the inner tie rod was bad.

I do not have a shop manual for the V and...
