Update:

So I sold my Civic, bought an 1988 Celica All-Trac. Now I have two group rally b homologated cars.

Celica been a PITA, accidently bought another project car instead of a daily.

Got the car back on the road, it is now my primary summer car, civic has a blown main bearing and is parked till winter.

Update:


I bought the cheapo radiator, works fine, looks to be good quality, same construction as OEM, everything fits on it fine. Ran the car for about 10 minutes with no fans, heat did not go...

I looked into the matter, looks like the oil cooler is just routed into the radiator. bought the tyc, I'll just plug the ports, dont really have to, but to keep moisture out.

Manual vs. Automatic Radiators

What is the difference between an automatic radiator and a manual one? Automatics usually have a separate oil cooler, do civic use coolant to cool the transmission or is the oil cooler just built...

I would like to say that's not true. When I had mine 0420 error and before I installed the non-fouler I was getting worse gas mileage.

Strut mount, this has a rubber bottom where the top of the spring meets and the top is metal, its the 3 bolts that stick out from the strut tower.

I had the same problem. I replaced mine with a $50 magnaflow cat which then continued to give me that same error code. So I installed a spark plug non-fouler and that solved the problem. I recommend...

I had PDR done before on hail damage. I went to the shop before I had front end damage and asked if they can do a respray on the car by counting some of the damage as non PDR and just repainting some...

I'm thinking of going satin on my car, French Lilac, rattle can.

My car got hit by hail, $500 deductible not worth it, front end damage = all new primed front end parts, rust on roof behind...

There is a shop 2 miles from me that did work on the car before under insurance. I will mount a new radiator and drive it over there.

I only want them to straighten out the frame, no body work.

Yeah, I'm thinking about it. People do this. If I'm going to make holes drilling it out I might as well save some shop labor and bolt in place, like 30 bolts probably or at least one for each hole I...

I have a minor dent on the driver side frame rail where the bumper core is attached, I will take it to a shop and get it pulled after I remove the radiator mount. Might have them weld a new rad...

I plan on drilling them out. I have the equipment for that. I'm asking about hard to reach places that a drill cant touch.
