The dust boot is just that, a rubber boot that prevents debris from getting in.

Probably not much. Had a guy the other day with a built head, dc headers and aftermarket cams and msd ignition. Only made like 195 hp.

Same motor so yes.

Only thing you don't want to exchange is the Exhaust Manifold or the Intake Manifold from an H23a3 because they're too bulky. Meaning they might not bolt in right...

If they claim it's just as good, then let them back it up in writing. That way if you had some problems thereafter, you had proof that they didn't...
