I've only used one and I didn't resurface the head, and the head wasn't the right mate to the block (mini me) and it blew. I didn't know if it was the gasket or the warpage. I resurfaced the head and...

damn I'm so ready to get mine done. I was supposed to get the block back today but my bud didn't bring it. I did get the guy to take off .060 or close to 1.7 mm to make up for pin heighth.

I didn't know this but I did give the block to a buddy to take to his coworker to deck it. He has a mill at his house and does mostly cyl heads. I told him as little as possible just to clean it up....

oh well, I guess we'll see what happens. Should I put my converter back on to get a little better back pressure?

I hope your not right man, no offense. I have seen alot of guys running 2.25 exhaust and a stock throttl body. I dont wanna lose power. :scared:

Just got through porting the y7/y8 intake to fit the 70mm throttle body, omg what a ton of work.

need to finish porting my header around the flanges, I decided just to use it like it is but the...

My current build,

d15b7 bottom end, stock rods, honda bearings, zc or the high compression pistons (pm7 or p29 I think). getting decked right now just for clean up.

z6 head (which I haven't...

is there even a y7 camshaft out there?? I'm looking to build an a6 bottom end with a y7 head, and cant find a cam. different head?? I'm running zc pistons too.
