Best fitting capsules for DB
I've read the first few and last few pages of the retrofitting club and saw some cool stuff. I'm a little new to modifying OE lights and I refuse to use any PNP crap.
I have a DB8 and I'm...

Re: 99 Coupe Speedo not working
I tested at both points and had continuity from the VSS plug to both points. I thought the same thing at first.

Re: 99 Coupe Speedo not working
The VSS from the B series trans that I put in after the swap, has a loose pin. Hopefully I can find one tonight. Although, the motor I put in has a slight knock and is coming out tonight anyway FML.

Re: P2A-7 Cylinder head (Distributor is not fitting)????
What happened to the distributor that came out of the car? If it's an OEM dizzy there should be a part number stamped in the side of one of the ears at the base of the dizzy. You could try searching...

Re: P2A-7 Cylinder head (Distributor is not fitting)????
I've done a little searching and I couldn't find a P2A-7 but I did find P2A-8, 9, and 10. If it's along that same series, it looks to be a non vtec ZC head.

Hondaguy is right in telling you what to check but the problem is likely your coil. I've seen it happen quite a bit.

Re: 99 Coupe Speedo not working
I checked all the connections at the speed sensor and all wires tested fine. Continuity between ECU and sensor on signal wire was good and the other 2 wires were 12 volt accessory and gound. Correct...

Re: 99 Coupe Speedo not working
Thank you, this was my next step. The plug on the car seemed to be a tiny bit burnt but I figured it should have been fine after I cleaned all the contact points. I'll try that tonight.

Re: CRX LS limp mode help
It's a little late, but I figured I'd post up that we got it fixed. The problem was in the wiring. The CPS from the distributor was not wired correctly at the ECU.

Re: CRX LS limp mode help

Re: CRX LS limp mode help
Also I'm not very experienced with anything obd0. This engine came out of a running 89 CRX last year. The car appears to be throwing code 14 which I think may be for the IACV.
