removed vtec solenoid and found metal pieces in the screen...removed valve cover and found nothing in there and drained oil and nothing in there...haha strange

and i dont want to take it up to 5200 rpms to check to c if the vtec works...i had it parked for a while and torn apart because i hit a deer and i just got it back together and it drove fine for...

That sounds like something clutch related...clutch going bad, throwout bearing going bad, etc.


the clutch only has 40,000 miles on it...

oil light problem...need a miracle worker

I swapped in an H22A a year ago and when the swap was done it had an idle problem, the idle would go up to about 1500 rpm and then drop to 700 rpm so i replaced the IACV and that didnt fix it, i bled...

if u dont find a fluid leak anywhere near the calipers then u may have a bad seal int he brake booster and the vacuum hooked to the booster is pulling the fluid into the engine and its just burning it

and im speaking of a real jdm motor u guys are all talkin about this H22a4 and H22a1 crap those arent even jdm..and red and black valve covers??? BS they did catagorize their motors by the valve...

I dont have a H22 civic from the looks of my name its a 95 prelude and if ur so smart then explain to me y there isnt a 30 percent loss of power thru the drivetrain and over accessories...please...

wel since u replaced all the secondary ignition then that cant b it...it could be worn intake cam lobes or worn exhaust cam lobes...or it may b a vacuum leak or and exhaust leak before the 02 sensor

bleed your cooling systems sometimes an air pocket in the system will do that...and if that doesnt help then its probably a vacuum leak...u can test it by removing the air intake from the throttle...

your thermostat isnt stuck open is it?? if it is then ur overcooling the motor causing it to run rich

if its the synchros then it wil get worse over time...u can adjust the cable if u think it may help ive never heard of the cable doing that but it doesnt hurt to try

yea the vacuum reservior is behind the fender or r u talkin about the solenoid with the vacuum hoses that sits right in front the strut tower mount...i would say its just a faulty egr valve

simple fix bro...u can check the thermostat by taking it out and put water in a pot and getting it up to temp should be about 170-180 degrees lower the thermostat in with a wire or clothes hanger and...

the "thingy" over the driver tire is a vacuum reservoir and the egr solenoid is in the egr valve located behind the cylinder head on the intake manifold on the H22A so the reservoir has nothing to do...
