if the ring won't come off then you got the wrong part. that's why you always match up the part before you install it and have to try to return a "used part"

just check resistance the sensor at the distributor (usually reads around 350 ohms/good) and check for continuity to the ecu, and polarity. I've seen the two wires switched after a tuck before...

I agree w/Thumper, Check all grounds. i've dealt with the same problem before fully stripping my interior and unnecessary wiring.

but not a recommended solution for a daily!

if the dash is out then it shouldn't be too hard. 6 screws from the back for the grey piece. almost impossible without removing the dash though.

very typical sound for hondas or any car w/ an aftermarket intake

it's really the way that it should sound when the valve is clear, just did mine yesterday same result.

make sure all the motor mount bolts are tight and check the spark plugs for fouling.


Maybe even a compression test cold then again warm.

Take the wheel and brake rotor off, pound what's left of the broken studs out the back get a few washers and a lug nut to pull the new ones through to thier proper position. Done.

We can only assume you're talking about a crankshaft pulley.

It's basically just "put it on the same way it came off" for that one. Just one bolt that is tighter than anything else in the world,...

probably a short.

Is it the factory radio?

if not, did you use a harness adapter?

is anything else possibly hooked up to the same power lead from that fuse?
