Re: How much nicer/better is an 06/07 than an 04/05?

My guess is it would be nearly 20 years of advancement in safety requirements and the fact that the current Civic is roughly the size of an early to mid 90's Accord.

Re: ***OFFICIAL 8th Gen General Discussion/Rant/INTRODUCTIONS Thread***

I was days away from selling my Si when I got the urge to stick it out again. Went so far as to sell all but a few of my parts and used the money to pick up a 93 hatch shell. Had the money together...

Re: ASR coilovers initial impressions & feedback thread

I've been waiting forever for the ASR 8th gen parts...I really hope they drop soon, I'm not too happy with my current suspension and want something balanced.

Re: Sedan trunk lid swap

I use either College Hills Honda or Majestic. No local dealer has been able to match their prices...ever. I saved 250ish bucks on a set of OEM headlights.

Re: Thinking about lower my car about 1.5inch. Spring or Coilovers?

Springs and dampers are great for a street car, with a decent damper the lowering springs will be more than comfortable.

Re: 1st Honda Civic. Any suggestions?

Grats on the new car, as an Si owner the premium stereo is good...for stock but things really get wild when you begin to add aftermarket equipment.

Re: Thinking of getting tint for '08 Sedan...

The % of tint on high quality tint is not going to change how hot the car gets. 45% will act the same way as 10%...again on quality tint.

The first time around I used the normal dyed tint, big...

Re: race header????

I've seen both first hand and I can tell you this. The s2 header is constructed nicer and even kidd himself will tell you that, but I can tell you that it's minimal. The Kiddracing header is by far...

Re: HEAT SOAK ON A FUJITA INTAKE?

The Fujita only causes issues if you are still MAF tuning. If that's the case then yes it's all over the place. You can revert back to speed density or MAP tuning and it's as good as any other SRI....

Re: stock 09 si sedan top speed...???

It was less of a stab at K5 than a general statement when it came up really. I have no issues with anyone really, just dropping my .02 on both subjects hehe. While poor typing does portray ignorance...

Re: 2009 LX- when to change oil

Even mechanics from way back will tell you 3k is too often. A better way to do it, if you don't want to get into the extremes of it, is to just follow the minder in the car. It adjusts to how the car...

Re: need help choosing wheels for my 09 Si

This is my car when I put on the Sportlines, wheels and got rid of the stickers. Those are 17x7 with the stock tires on them.

Re: how to remove the front h emblem.??

The H emblems are held on with clips. Like peeta said you just remove your front bumper and grille for the front H and Si badge. The rear H is accessible from inside the trunk. All other badges are...

Re: 1/4 mile times.

I find this conversation hilarious, while imauthenticFTW's 14.1 hasn't been duplicated many Si owners have run to the low 14's stock. I also find it hilarious that some here claim his launch and...

Re: need help choosing wheels for my 09 Si

Of the options you showed, I'm a fan of the Buddy Clubs, I've always liked em. I have Gram Light 57M that are also the 6 spoke style but more blocky than the Buddy Clubs.

Re: Trunk lining stock?

My 08 didn't have it or the plastic covers for the trunk lid arms either. Doesn't bother me as it looks kinda half hearted to me.

Re: JDM password

For whatever reason, the prepreg. used on these seems to have too many tiny holes and the seams have been reported as weak. I don't know if this is due to a poor batch of dry CF or what, but they are...

Re: Another UPDATE!!!!!!! 464 hp 312 tq @17 psi we just ran 11.31@120

Re: Another UPDATE!!!!!!! 464 hp 312 tq @17 psi we just ran 11.31@120

I think you missed what I was saying earlier ajp. Cheap is a relative term. $1,500 is cheap for a quality 46" LCD tv, but you would think twice before picking up a 46" LCD tv at $350 bucks right?...

Re: JDM password

More broken record here, it's dry CF. Most people simply prefer something they know will pull all air from the filter and not from tiny holes all over...or the seams that have shown signs of...

Re: 08 si 4dr type r conversion

By the time you are done, most spend around 6k in parts from one of the more common sites. It can be done for less but you really have to dig for deals then.
