One day my car leaned out for a minute, and then just died, on the freeway.
Tracked it down to a wiring butt-connector on the injector circuit...

From here, they look like normal burns on the old plugs. Good idea replacing them. I never liked those platinum plugs.
I overheated my engine...

Re: Returning to stock muffler

Depends on your power level.
If you have a stock engine, and switch to stock muffler, you may actually gain some low end/mid range power.

I noticed my small turbo D16 was obviously being...

Re: Head Gasket blew again after 20K miles

He's right.
Torque sequence is critical, even if you "think" it doesn't make any difference.

Can be the difference between a 1000 mile headgasket and a 50,000 mile headgasket,

Re: Head Gasket blew again after 20K miles

Have you ever heard of anyone running 2 head gaskets?
It doesn't work like that.

You could get a thicker gasket if you order from some place like Cometic that has custom gaskets.
Thats if...

And you can't re-use it, even if only torqued once. The ridges get smashed for the sealing.

Make sure to follow the...

Re: at what rpm @ 70mph ex or dx tranny?

Well for what its worth, on my my way to work today, I took note of my RPM at 70, and it was 3000 rpms exactly. I have a stock '95 EX transmission.

My speedo could be off though.

Re: At my wits end.

I would definitely suspect the O2 sensor first.
What you have to realize is that they place the 02 sensor closer to the engine for a reason, so that it heats up and starts working. It needs to be...

Re: Muscle guy with a Civic question

I haven't gone over 120 with mine (not crazy about going faster than that), so I couldn't say, but it felt surprisingly stable.
I'd bet it would be fine to 150 or more, maybe add some aero.
