Re: more cluster bulb/LED help lol

I've had good luck with most of the T3 Led bulbs on Ebay. And they are cheap!

I have tried blue, green, and white with the best results for illumination and clarity being the white T3 leds.

Great post. Found the answer to my problem in a matter of seconds using my phone to do a quick search. All fixed now. I took the nut and bolt route for a quick and permanent repair.

Re: 1st gen rear spoiler on a 2nd gen?

Black silicone and black krinkle paint. Almost done! Total cost $30 plus a couple hours.

A little more clean up on the seam and I should be done. Hope the paint actually sticks

Update -1st gen rear spoiler on a 2nd gen?

Almost finished product. Cut about 8 inches out of it and rubber sealed it.

Next... tack weld the two parts back together from the bottom and find a way to clean up and smooth out the seam.

Re: 1st gen rear spoiler on a 2nd gen?

No can do! This spoiler is made of a dense foam with a sheet of metal going through the lowest center point for reinforcement and mounting.

My take on "Cupholders"

They only fit cans or small cups so my "big gulp" addiction has been solved.

Re: 1st gen rear spoiler on a 2nd gen?

1st gen oem CRX Si. See #18 and 2nd picture.

There was also #19 and 3rd picture.

I think I will go and pull the Si spoiler tomorrow and see how it will fit on my 89 Si.

Re: 1st gen rear spoiler on a 2nd gen?

The picture is of the junk yard spoiler. Probably about $20.

The one I like is the EDM spoiler that I see pop up once and a while for about $200

Re: Hood in the the boot?

Good idea. I may try going topless. The hood is considerably wider than the rear of the car.

Thanks

Icon2 Hood in the the boot?

I'm going to take a road trip in the CRX and possibly pick up a hood. Has anyone ever hauled one in the back of a CRX? Will it fit with the hatch closed?

Thanks

I found the info. I was the one asking the same question back in October. It's old people like me who forget and then fill these forums up asking the same questions over and over.

Re: Rear Hub swap

I'm asking if it's possible to swap rear disks from one CRX Si to another CRX Si that had stock drums by only swapping hubs and braking assembly's, prob valve, and lines.

My drum setup has new...

Icon2 Rear Hub swap

With a 89 CRX Si can't I just pull off the rear hubs with drum brakes and replace them with 91 CRX Si hubs with disk brakes? Wouldn't this be easier than swapping the whole arm?

I did search and...

Re: $18 CRX lip on eBay?

Had one on for a year. Looked good, fit ok. Got a few complements on it. Just not my style, so I put the oem one back on.
