a poorly grounded engine can have all kinds of driveability problems. one time a buddy of mine had a super clean 93 GSR and he put a just put a new motor in and the motor was grounded by the body...

i didnt even think about that. instrument is right. you have probably painted over all of you grounds.... sand 'em down then hook 'em up.

to check it, turn the ignition on and check the voltage...

ok, so its not mechanical timing. the compression numbers tell me its nothing to do with volumetric efficiency. i'd say it must me elecrical.

lets get a better idea of what you are dealing with....

go get an aligment. there is no (accurate) way to check it yourself. don't even mess around with it. alignments are cheap and they save you alot of money in the long run.

X2, thats exactly what it sounds like to me. check mechanical timing, then electrical timing.

get the map sensor voltage, if its is above 1.0v at idle at operatin temp, then the cam timing might...

make sure you have the signal wire to the starter hooked up. its the small female "spade type" conector that plugs into the male "spade type" on the starter.

all in all there are two wires that go...

I had the same problem, only i was the victim. not fun.

the sunroof isn't designed to seal off completely. but it does have four drain tubes at the four corners to keep unexpecting passengers dry....

by the way, GENERALLY a bouncing tach means the ignitor is going out. Generally. and you should always replace the coil with the ignitor. gl.
