re: HondaAddict91's Quest For Choosing The Proper Precision Turbocharger

You went from 550-650 at the crankshaft to 650whp. Which one is it? It kind of seems like you don't know what you want. Read up on turbos, inducer/exducer size what they mean, what they do,...

Re: D16 Turbo Downpipe hitting oil pan

Pretty much this. What I had to do was cut my downpipe basically flush with the bottom of the oil pan where it was going to run across the pan. There's no ground clearance anyways, if you want to...

Re: Make Forums Great Again, Volume 1: 2017 Civic Si initial dyno testing, reflashin

I'm basically married myself but if push ever came to shove what I say would go. However, me and my GF of 4 years never get to that point. I just hate seeing when people need permission from their...

Re: ssmrico's 1991 ED3 680whp turbo progress build

I thought you just made the calipers work ha. I didn't pay attention to the rest of the suspension. My buddy has Cadillac calipers on his Suzuki Samurai but who knows if they even work knowing him...

Re: GSR timing belt tensioner or stock B18a1 tensioner

Of course, get it in running order NA first. Work all the 'bugs' out and then boost it :D

Re: Make Forums Great Again, Volume 1: 2017 Civic Si initial dyno testing, reflashin

Normally I'd take a shot at someone needing their wife's permission to do something BUT it is her car. Maybe just mod it on the sneaks? She'll get a good surprise when she discovers all that extra...

Re: The Blackbird rises from the ashes - SUPERCHARGED - Build Thread

This thread reminds me of RMCDaniels and his supercharger setup. I wonder what happened to that? Awesome setup, thanks for the hard work, time and cash investment.

Re: GT4094R Specifications and Use

You might want to go smaller. Unless you don't care about the power coming in way later with a big turbo.

Re: Horsepower limit of ID1000 & Walbro 450 on E85

Ages ago, my CRX made 549whp on a Walbro255 and 044 on E85 but duty cycle was near 100% on ID1000s. I'm probably going to jump up to ID2000s and I now have a Walbro450 in the tank and new 044, I...

Re: ssmrico's 1991 ED3 680whp turbo progress build

Yep, just some good blanks and some really good brake pads are all you need. Especially on these small, light-weight Hondas. I have Hawk pads all around. I think I paid around $100 for all new rotors...

Re: GSR timing belt tensioner or stock B18a1 tensioner

I saw your build thread. I take it your car is up and running? And thing about it, it's a tensioner, it only needs to put tension on the belt so I would have assumed it was the same but at least you...

Re: Wtb: 90-91 CRX Si parts

How much are you willing to pay for the dash? There's one in the junkyard I can probably get for you but there's work involved and then it would have to be shipped too. From what I remember the car...

Re: bogging issues

Did you test fuel pressure under load? I need to do this on my CRX, having some issues and not sure if it's just my bunk tune or a pump/fuel strainer problem.

Re: 4040 brake proportioning valve

First thing I would try is another set of wheels if they're available after inspecting all nuts/bolts for tightness.

Re: Radiator Cooling Fan Always Running

If you're not going to ever use the stuff again it's better to just eliminate it in my opinion. Gets it out of the way, simplifies maintenance and WOW(!) weight reduction of a few ounces :D

Holley HydraMat for road racing- Useful?

Has anyone used one of these in a Honda for road racing? I was thinking of attempting to make one of them work, seems a lot more reliable than the OEM sock.
