If you want really deep red go to a slightly lighter shade then about 3 to 5 coats of candy red over that will give you the most amazing red you have ever seen.

Problem with that is that kandy fades to a certain point...so the new bumper might match for a while, but it will fade over time at a different rate..

You could make a slip yoke inside a carrier on the drivesahfts, that would a have a splined gear and you could even put a syncro ring on it to make it engageable while moving...kinda of like a gear...

Kandy red basecoat from HOK is great, it is a basecoat that mimics a kandy colour, alsa makes some as well.

Polish the lenses if they need it, buy actual good headlight bulbs, not some blue coated pile of sh*t, OSRAM SILVERSTARS( not sylvannia silverstars) are one of if no the best aftermarket bulb on the...

You should definately paint the whole hatch, and price wise, to do it right, right to new paint, including shaving the 6 holes could be anywhere from 600 - 1000 depending which six holes you mean.

We have one of those too...but it distorts the glass, and the windshield is Laminated, and the rest of the glass is tempered. So if you polish to deep or get the glass too hot it can pop.

You can still dim the LED's I have them in my car and have for the last 6 years and the dimmer works fine, it wont go 100 black but they will get dimmer.

If you can feel them with your fingernail, they are too deep to polish... even it they are not, by polishing such a contained area you will cause distortion in the glass, and that can look far worse...

If you wanted to do it you could get aluminum spacer machined that go between the upper mounts and the chock towers, that way it would be solid and you coul have studs pressed into the spacer so it...
