Not necessary, h pumps don’t have issue with oiling , unless you remove the oil squirters

With an a4 you need a different ecu. Additionally if your swapping trans that can be a problem if you get atts trans. I would just get another a1 block

The fact that those rods have rust, I would not buy them. Just alone on the principal, the individual is trying to sell them is letting it have surface rust that bad on it.

Blown pistons can cause overheating because of warping of the head or block service. Additionally that kind of damage, normally also causes a headgasket issue. Which would also cause a heating issue.
