Re: Looking for opinons on Paint sealants.

As long as you're happy, that's all that matters! :)

Sorry you couldn't get the Griot's sealant to work for you, never used it myself. You really should look into Blackfire's product line. I...

Re: how to remove water spots?

Your first sentence is true. The rest, not so much.

Water spots are mineral deposits built up in the clear. Iorn IS one of them, but calcium and lime are bigger factors. Clay bar WON'T remove a...

Re: Wax seperated

Liquid waxes/sealants can separate in high heat.

Re: need some insight from detailing gurus...pics included.

Got some bad news for you.

That defect is called "crows feet", tiny cracks in the surface of the paint, and can only be solved by repainting. The reason they are visible is that now you've done...

Re: Help with wheel cleaners.

Nonono do not acid bath those wheels. Acid bathing is reserved for unprotected, untreated oxidized and etched aluminum.

You've got a couple options. Sand down and re-clear in sections, or sand...

Re: Help with wheel cleaners.

Well to me the finish looks long past the point of gentle cleansers and elbow grease. Would you waste time on putting a gentle cleaner wax by hand on a rough, oxidized paint job? No. It's time for a...

Re: Help with wheel cleaners.

You do realize that with your Mugens, its a painted and clear coated wheel, right? You're not dealing with bare metal there. You'll either need to take the finish all the way down to the metal and...

Re: SRT-10 Dodge Viper gets Wet Ice over Fire treatment by Tru Shine!

Sick work man. Those pits looked awful. How people can let a car get like that is beyond me. I LOVE Blackfire. By far the easiest to use and most intense finishing products I've ever used.

Re: How to remove paint/nail polish from car paint?

Yeppers. Acetone works too. After gentle use of these products, a little polish applied by hand should remove any hazy residue left behind. Wax and enjoy!
